Frontend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development and operation of the frontend services for AiD (AI-Defense), PYLER’s brand safety solution in the video advertising space

- Design seamless user experiences across the entire AiD product, including component architecture and frontend structure by feature and project

Requirements

- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript, with a solid understanding of its type system and core JavaScript concepts

- Proven experience in component-based architecture and state management, including deployment and production operations

- Deep understanding of React and Next.js, including server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG)

- Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, and web accessibility principles

- Broad and practical understanding of web development from architecture to deployment

- Experience developing with RESTful APIs between client and server

- Comfortable with Git-based collaboration and working within Agile or Scrum development methodologies

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills – able to work closely with backend engineers and product teams with a flexible and solution-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; understanding of serverless architecture is a plus

- Strong sense of user experience (UX) and UI design skills; experience with frameworks like Material UI, Chakra UI, etc.

- Experience writing and maintaining test code using tools like Jest and React Testing Library

- Ability to optimize web application performance, with hands-on experience using tools like Lighthouse or Web Vitals

- Background in user-centered product development, and a proactive approach to API design, implementation, and end-to-end (E2E) testing
